This hotel is fabulous! it's clean and modern and gives you all the little extras...Affordable and chic, what else does a girl need in NYC?

The Lower East Side is changing fast, and the East Houston is a perfect base if you want to be in the middle of the scene-while still close to the Village and SoHo. Great food, coffee, and music all around, and Houston Street wasn’t as noisy or busy as I dreaded.

The lobby and rooms are really nice. Our room was small, but chic and clean. Complimentary breakfast is great, and the view from the rooftop lounge is not to be missed! Don’t forget your iPod. The rooms have docking station!

We'd previously stayed in New York in Times Square and this was a much more enjoyable experience. It's in a vibrant and trendy part of town and a world away from all the comedy-club leafletters and hotdog vendors.

Very nice, new hotel with great customer service…AWESOME rooftop terrace where you can sit and look at the midtown skyline and sip wine.

The room was very clean and the decor throughout the hotel was lovely. The staffs were extremely helpful giving me excellent directions for using public transport. The only downside was that the room was very small but I'd rather small, clean and modern than big and grotty!

I can’t say enough great things about the East Houston Hotel. Perfect location in SoHo, East Village. Within walking distance to many great restaurants and bars, Whole Foods, Subway stations, the East River is just down the street (good for running, walking, etc.)

This hotel is in a great spot in the east village and reminded me of hotels that I’ve stayed in Europe. Well designed, clean, extremely helpful and friendly staff.

This is a real nice little hotel that is off the tourist path and close to some nice New York lively spots. I would certainly recommend this hotel if you are looking for an authentic Manhattan experience.

The spotless cleanliness of the room and bathroom, the terrace on the roof, the good wireless connection, the location.

Very nice staff, clean modern room, and very close to lots of great restaurants and shops in Lower East Side. Would highly recommend this hotel to the business traveler or young couples who want to explore a cool area of NY with an elegant style hotel.

On the same small block as a subway stop, and close to a couple of great delis, I plan on staying here the next time I come to NYC.

I would stay at the EHH again without hesitation. The location is perfect as the East Village is tons of fun, and everything else seems pretty close. The staff was very nice, called for cars, stored baggage, ect. The room was a little small but it is NYC and you shouldn’t be in your room much anyway.

Expedia Traveler - Minneapolis, MN

This hotel is a reasonably priced gem. The decor is modern and the atmosphere, soothing. The rooftop deck is an added luxury. The room was small but comfortable, with a comfy bed, flat screen TV, individual reading lights and good climate control.

Linda C - Swarthmore, PA

It's beautifully fitted out and has an amazing roof deck which is also very tastefully and stylishly finished
